Laughing with Lila: 8 Months Old!

Age - 8 months old

No Height and Weight Check this month... we don't see the pediatrician until 9 months! I'm guessing she's around 20 lbs.

Diaper Size - 3

Clothing - Lila just started wearing Carter's 12 month .. but she's also wearing 6-12 month clothes comfortably too from Old Navy and Gap.

Sleeping habits - Pretty much the same as the last few months. We start our bed time routine around 6:30 p.m. after Lila has some "dinner". After a bath and feeding Lila, we read three books, always ending with On the Night You Were Born. She is usually pretty sleepy and this month we only make it to the extra books 1/2 of the nights of the week! She's still sleeping until anywhere in between 5:30-7:30 a.m. This month we've had a lot more middle of the night sessions with Lila as she's teething. After some cuddling and sometimes nursing and a fresh diaper, she goes back down. She's also sleeps with a warm air humidifier to keep her room warm and help keep her healthy too! She takes 2-3 naps a day... depending on how she's feeling! She also can nap anywhere! Her favorite place is napping on mommy or daddy. She has also started "playing" more in her crib... sometimes getting into some trouble!

Eating habits - We're up to three solid food meals a day. She eats a mix of fruits, veggies, and cereals. She's also gotten really good at feeding herself "puffs". We've also been giving her apples in her mesh feeder, which makes her gums feel really good. She's also still nursing in the morning, after work, and before bed and taking two bottles at Miss Sue's. We also introduced her to juice this month, which she doesn't seem that excited about.

Favorite activity - Saturday morning swimming lessons! She's also loves army crawling around the living room playing with her toys.

Cutest Moment of the Month - Kissing Baby E... she loves him! She gets so excited to see him and shakes her hands and laughs... It's safe to say that she loves her cousin!
