I love hanging with my mommy...

One of the great things about mommy being a teacher is that sometimes she gets days off...  and every once in awhile weeks off!   Mommy is currently on Holiday Break from school so I get to hang out with her all day for the next two weeks!   Luckily we've got lots going on.  On Monday we went to go visit Dr. Boyce to get my eyes checked.  Dr. Boyce's daughter was in mommy's class last year and suggested I come get my eyes checked.   It was a quick visit and my eyes look fabulous!

After visiting with Dr. Boyce, I needed a nap.  Caymus wanted to nap with me.

While I was napping Mimi and Mommy started making pierogi.  This is a tradition on mommy's side that has been going on for a very long time.

I got to help mommy seal some of the pierogi.

Tuesday morning we stayed in our PJs and baked s'mores bars and Eggnog Snickerdoodle Cookies.  I got to play with the spatula.

 I really enjoyed my job.

Then I got a package in the mail!   I was very excited so mommy let me open it.  It was from Great Aunt Mary who lives in Maine.  I've never met her so it was very nice of her to send a gift.

I figured I should practice opening presents, just in case Santa comes... there are also quite a few presents under the tree... I hope some of them are for me!

I got some great presents.  A book called I Met a Mouse in Maine, which is a very funny story my mom read to me today, some stuffed animals, and a really nice coat, hat, and mittens set.  I'm one lucky girl.

We finally changed out of PJs... and I was just being cute while mommy was getting ready.

Then we took out my big girl car seat.  I think mommy might attempt to install it tomorrow.  It's a lot more comfy and safer than my infant seat.  I'm getting pretty big for that one.  So this is going to be my "new ride".  I really like sitting in it.

I can't wait for the next two days... I have two play dates!!!!
